First, I’d like to say – Props to Gametrailers for the vid. This is the Mortal Kombat we all know and love. Honestly, Street Fighter will be the best 2D fighting game ever to grace the planet imho. However!!!!!!! Mortal Kombat also was dope in it’s heyday..I am sooo glad they are returning to the core elements of the game that made it special: brutal fatalities, incredible special moves, backdrops, interactiveness with the stage, etc. MK vs DC just did not cut it – at all. This game was made to be mature. Ed Boon does a brief interview that touches on a lot of different subjects including the release date: Spring 2011. Check out the clip below! Well, as if this game is not stimulating enough – the people from Rock Band have introduced a new instrument controllers system. According to IGN, “MTV Games and Harmonix teamed up with Mad Catz to design and produce the new Wireless Keyboard Controller and Fender Mustang Pro Guitar Controller, as well as implementing a few notable tweaks to the Rock Band Microphone and Wireless Drum Kit.”
