Final Fantasy XIII-2: Enhanced Battle System Trailer

You know as time goes by and more RPGs come into play, it’s kind of tiring to see the same old turn based style gameplay. I’m really curious to see the impact of this gameplay compared to its predecessor. In this particular version, there is an emphasis on Preemptive Strike, Paradigm Shift (changing battle rolls at will and adjusting your battle role setup), and Cinematic Action.


Although these roles are prevalent within the title, I still wonder is this just a simple rehash of Final Fantasy XIII or a title that this can appeal to the masses while maintaining some uniqueness. A lot of people are arguing that this title is what the original Final Fantasy XIII should have been, and others are pretty much on the idea that this is just a rehash of the first. Any way you slice it, you’ll have to check it out as more footage comes around.
