Yes, I am taking it back to the ORIGINAL Playstation mascot! Any remembers the little console wars from back in the day between Sony, Sega, and Nintendo? Well, Sony had the Playstation out, Sega already had Saturn, and Nintendo was just coming out with N64. Of course, Sony had some of the best variety of games in the marketplace but didn’t really have any flagship characters to show. Crash was heavily promoted as this cool, kind of mellow, spunky character. You got the vibe of a straight up down under (Australian) marsupial. I mean, that’s what a Bandicoot is – a marsupial. Just a bit on the overgrown side; doesn’t really matter.
The game was pretty cool. It was definitely fun to play and I think Crash 2: Cortex Strikes Back was my favorite. Maybe I might post up that commercial in the near future. Number 3 featured going to different places (well, warping) due to the title, Crash Bandicoot Warped. At any rate, I’m rather surprised I haven’t posted up this commercial yet. This should have been one of the earlier posts I made regarding my Throwback Thursday series.
It’s all good because this is still a very cool commercial. See, games don’t even have these cool and creative commercials like back in the day. These were some really entertaining and hilarious moments in video game history. I ESPECIALLY love the blatant call out in the middle of the commercial with Bandicoot taunting Mario right in from the main Nintendo offices. Ingenious! Very cutthroat but hilarious at the same time. Game companies did their thing with a lot of tact and care to ensure there was no defamation. Shoutout to PlaystationMuseum for uploading this wonderful piece of history! I hope everyone gets well rested and ready for Electronic Entertain Expo 212. Check out the commercial below!
Learn how to have more security throughout your home with driveway alarms
Having a secure home and using driveway alarms are excellent ways to detect thieves, robbers, or other offenders. Security and having a sense of peace in the home has no price value. Making sure your family is safe should be your number one priority. If you have a big house in the suburbs, it doesn’t really matter even if you have a huge fence. You always want make sure you have some kind of entryway alert. That’s one of the best ways to prevent anything from happening to the inside of your home. Make sure your cameras are properly placed, so that you can get a good range of motion. A motion sensor driveway alarm would probably be your best bet. The great thing is you can set them up incognito style and even find ways to hear the alarm go off with light sensors in your home to let you know someone is on your property. A great motion sensor with lights and even sound helps to keep outsiders off your property. The great thing about these is that they are generally inexpensive. You can have the most practical alarms that are still really effective. They are weather proof and they can greatly help your home become more secure!
