Assassin’s Creed III : Boston Tea Party Trailer

This is actually a pretty good and thought out rendition of the Boston Tea Party. I love the kind of cinema that’s more or less a stop in animation with narration in the background. If you are a history buff, you definitely know that the Boston Tea Party was definitely one of the first kind of political issues dealt with before America became America. The Tea Party was not necessarily a tea thing, but more or less fighting the British over it’s ridiculous taxes. They would throw out a crazy deal where Sugar was super expensive, but they wont take you for molasses or something. Tea was another issue, so they pretty much dumped all the tea out in the Boston River. Crazy, Right? How’s that for a political movement. This is just one of the acts that really kept the tension growing between Great Britain and the future United States. Good job to the people at Ubisoft for creating a pretty cool trailer. Enjoy, y’all!
Throwback Thursday – Sonic-16 Demo (SAtAM cartoon)

Last night I randomly thought of watching Sonic the Hedgehog the Saturday Morning that came on ABC back in 1993-1995. It was a spin-off of the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog that came on weekday mornings on UPN (now CW but was called WDCA back then) and WNUV 54 Baltimore. That particularly series lasted from 1993-1994. However, they did come out with the Sonic Christmas Blast in 1996. At any rate, what I did not know is that they actually tried pitching a game based off the Saturday Morning series. As you know the Archie Comics made a whole comic book series based off the SAT-AM series which included Knuckles, Super Sonic, and the Chaos Emeralds.
The interesting thing is that although there is only a demo up of what was called “Sonic-16″, Sally was included in Sonic Spinball as a quick cameo. Additionally, the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was featured in Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine with Grounder and Scratch as bosses. I find it kind of funny and interesting how I’m finding out all of this information like 18-19 years later. Hey, better late than never, right? If this game got worked on more and they could actually pitch it, I think it would have made an excellent title. I mean, the whole climbing, dodging, and elusive aspect of the demo, it’s something you never see in Sonic Games these days. It was definitely ahead of it it’s time. I think you should check it for yourself! Enjoy! Oh yeah, as a little treat, I will post up an episode of the old Sonic the Hedgehog SAT-AM. Peace!
Marvel vs Capcom Origins Launch Trailer

Man, talk about a throwback right here. If you ever played any of these games as a kid, you know what it is. I don’t even have to go into details by how great these games are. I just wonder if there is gonna be some crazy remix joint that includes X-Men: Children of the Atom and another cool game maybe like Darkstalkers as a bonus. That would be pretty dayum interesting to say the least.
Here’s a brief description according to Machinima, “MARVEL VS. CAPCOM ORIGINS offers both the one-on-one gameplay of Marvel Super Heroes with its unique Infinity Gem system and the two-on-two carnage of the original Marvel vs. Capcom®: Clash of Super Heroes, featuring a tag system, assists, and the wild Duo Team Attack. Bringing forth a host of features never before seen in these games, MARVEL VS. CAPCOM ORIGINS features GGPO-enhanced online play with 8-player lobbies and spectator mode, HD graphical upgrades, dynamic challenges and replay saving.”
I still say they need to make a Marvel Super Heroes 2 or a remake or something that includes a lot more characters updated graphics with even more powers from the infinity gems. Hell, even a Power Stone update would be dope right about now! LOL. Peep the trailer below:
