I saw this fan made movie on Sunday, but I waited to post this joint today because it is Throwback Thursday after all! I have to say that the people that made this fan made movie really did the joint justice! I mean, if you pay attention to the detail that went in on this movie, you can really tell that they put in some work!! You can tell that they didn’t have the craziest budget in the world, but it was still really dope! The way the different backgrounds fit in, the sound effects, the music, and even the way the characters looked was pretty legit! Can’t front on that!
Also, I love how they even got the special move right with how Adam called the police for the special. They got that part pretty well! The fireworks from the Bazooka made it really dope! I’m honestly on nostalgia heaven with this fan made movie. I’ll tell you one thing, that broad with the whip STILL kinda freaks me out. I’ll let you in on a little story. I was 7 years old, and it was my b-day. I first got the Sega Genesis in September 1993, and this was a game I rented. I was completely spooked out when I got to the bar level, and I had to face the broad with the whip. In fact, the first few times I played it, I just shut the game off! LOL.
I know everyone that has seen this fan movie completely went bonkers. Those that haven’t seen it yet..well, now you will! This is the Throwback Thursday everyone!! The classic beat em up, brawler, raw, gritty, street style game..the excellent music with a mix of dope hip house and crazyness…Streets of Rage Fan Movie! POW!
